TONIGHT is Papa John's night. Papa John's will give 10% of all sales on TODAY to AMS. The AMS Family Night will be the second Wednesday of each month. Please support AMS by ordering pizza TODAY. ~The homeroom that orders the most pizza each nine weeks will receive a pizza party, so be sure to order some good food and support AMS! After the last family night, Mrs. Whitley's class was in the lead, but anyone can still win, so order some pizza TODAY.
Attention all Honor Society members: It is time to start preparing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. If you do not have an empty shoe box to put your items in, bring items to Mrs. Whitley in a bag. Please come by Mrs. Whitley's classroom to pick up the information sheet so you know what can be placed in the boxes. Boxes will be due by December 10.

~All entries must be submitted to the VFW by November 1st, or Mrs. Saunders by Wednesday, October 27th.

October 17-23 is Teen Read Week. The AMS media center theme for the week is "Books with Bite", featuring fiction books about vampires, werewolves, dragons and monster as well as non-fiction books about animals, including sharks, alligators, snakes and more. Come check out the media center displays and check out a book!
Attention to students interested in wrestling:
Wrestling tryouts will be today Oct. 20 and tomorrow Oct. 21. At Albemarle High School. 6:00 to 7:30. Ones that do not make the basketball team will have tryouts on Mon. Oct. 25. Practice begins on Mon. Oct. 25 6:00 to 7:30. Roge Brafford is the coach. |
