The guidance department will be hosting a career exploration day for all 8th grade students and their parents, during January 2009. I will be sending information and registration forms home at the end of December.

During the months of October and November, I have been visiting all 6th and 7th grade classes to talk with students about bullying prevention. Students are learning how to deal with bullies and make our school environment safe for all.

Stanly Early College High School- accepts applications from 8th grade students that reside in Stanly County. Students graduate with a high school diploma and an associate’s degree in five years.
